Blizzard working on a new Battle.net client for OS-X
A new job ad suggests Blizzard is planning a “next generation Battle.net Desktop Client on OS X”. That’s probably only of interest to those of you with powerful enough office Macs to sneak in a few quick World of Warcraft quests between meetings, but it’s interesting that it’s described as a “next-gen” client. To enter the remote realm of Wild Speculation for a few minutes, perhaps Blizzard will appear at an Apple event showcasing a new iMac range, or launch a universal client across Mac, PC and consoles with Diablo 3. Back in reality: oh good, a better Battle.net client for Macs.
Thanks, Superannuation.
