Battlefield 4: military shooters aren’t over-saturated, plenty left to do in that space, say DICE
Battlefield 4 is being showcased at E3 right now and DICE’s Patrick Bach has said he’s surprised by how much attention it’s getting. That’s because while he feels military shooters are no longer over-saturated, he reckons Sci-Fi is now the new big thing.

Battlefield 4′s Commander Mode detailed, 64-player Siege of Shanghai multiplayer shown
DICE came on stage during the EA E3 press event to talk about Battlefield 4 and Commander Mode. Thanks to Battlelog you can also play anywhere and jump into it on various devices. Siege of Shanghai multiplayer mode was shown which allows for up to 64-players. This was shown live on stage. A team of five were shown playing with the other 59. Watch below.

Battlefield 4: Second Assault will be released first on Xbox One
Battlefield 4: Second Assault, a multiplayer map pack, will be released first on Xbox One. The single-player demo of the “Angry Sea” mission was shown. You can get on a boat and shoot enemies. Battlefield 4 drops across North America on October 29, for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, and will hit PS4 and Xbox One in due course. It’s out November 1 in Europe. A video shown at the conference is below.
