DICE producer Daniel “zh1nt0″ Matros is participating in an eSports charity event through Charitystream, a concept founded by Matros and Tim Kjell. What occurs, is donations are obtained by folks who watch live game streams and the money goes to orphanages around the world. The donations also help buy supplies and record documentaries of the team’s efforts. Raffles are taken part in by viewers for items donated to the charity by sponsors. Viewers donate to the charity fund and then take part in a raffle to win this object. Three days ago, Matros participated in a Battlefeild 3 livestream, which you can re-watch on Twitch TV. Mircrosoft has published the final nominees for its fan-voted Xbox Entertainment Awards. The competition – which suffered a security breach early on – includes a shortlist made up of Halo 4, The Walking Dead, Far Cry 3 and more.

Battlefield 3: End Game is expected in March, and since it is the last pack of DLC for the shooter before DICE starts focusing on a new game in the series, the team thought it would be cool for players to ride around on dirt bikes and performing all sorts of jumps.

Battlefield Premium members should be in receipt of some very snazzy new dogtags, the latest content update from DICE to its most faithful fans. The dogtags are visible in all their glory on the Battlefield blog. During its recent financial report, EA said Battlefield Premium subscriptions have reached a total of 2.9 million and that by deferring its revenue into the next quarter it expects to be rolling around in cash quite shortly.

A video for the End Game pack for Battlefield 3 has been released. The expansion contains dirt bikes and other new lightweight AA vehicles, and the classic Capture The Flag game mode is also back for the attack. A new dropship will allow for rapid deployment air drops of troop transports, and four maps round out the areas in which you can shoot things. The pack was detailed a bit more in a previous post yesterday. End Game is expected in March, and is the last pack of DLC for the shooter before DICE starts focusing on a new game in the series.
