Warner Montreal has said it’s working on bringing new DC Comics-based games to the market due thanks to the popularity of Rocksteady’s Batman series, and the bang-up job the studio did with the two titles.

Warner Bros. has announced that the Batman: Arkham City Lockdown is now available on the App Store, bringing the Arkham City franchise to iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. Developed by NetherRealm Studios, Lockdown features several of Gotham City criminals, including The Joker, Two-Face and Solomon Grundy, as well as iOS-exclusive character Deathstroke. Lockdown uses AirPlay, allowing players to stream their gameplay on their iPad2 or iPhone 4S to their HDTV using Apple TV. It is available for £3.49 from the App Store on iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.

The PC patch fixing DirectX 11 issues in Batman: Arkham City has gone live, but Rocksteady is suggesting folks running 32-bit versions of Windows 7 or Vista skip it for the time being. Apparently, there are a few issues, and those who prefer 32-bit need to wait on a follow-up patch, and console themselves with DX9 for the time being. Those running 64-bit should go ahead and download the patch, as it should fix any DX11 issues you may be experiencing. Other fixes in the patch are listed below the jump.

Warner has confirmed that the PC version of Batman: Arkham City will be available in North America on November 22, in Australia November 23, in France on November 24, and in other European territories November 25. It was announced a while back that the game had been delayed on PC, and a new date of November 15 in the US and November 18 in the UK was provided. Earlier today, Steam had it listed for a November 22 release, basically confirming the new delay. Still, not much longer now. It will also be made available through EA’s Origin service.

Halloween weekend is here, and so are more shorts. We won’t get to dress up or draw down the moon until Monday, but we’re going to try and carve a pumpkin this weekend. It is NOT going to look anything like this though. Promise.

Remember the Batman: Arkham City trailer MTV posted yesterday that was region locked to the US? Well, Warner released it to everyone else today, so now you can watch it. It’s posted below, courtesy of Machinima. In it, The Joker is showcased along with his crew of deadly henchmen. Arkham City is out October 18 in North America and October 21 in the UK on PS3 and 360. The PC version has been delayed into November.

Warner Bros has announced its delayed the PC version of Batman: Arkham City into November. No exact reason for the delay was given, and no new specific date was given other than just November. The PS3 and 360 versions are unaffected, and are still on schedule for October 18 in North America and October 21 in the UK.

Deadshot the assassin is the latest villain to be unveiled for Batman: Arkham City. The news comes to us via a couple YouTube videos for Game Trailers TV. GameStop has apparently outed some Catwoman DLC content for Batman: Arkham City. Shown in a listing for the Limited Edition Official Strategy Guide from BradyGames, which states the slippery feline-like woman will be the recipient of “4 episodes” of DLC. We’re unsure what these “episodes” will entail, but we’ll dangle Warner a mail and see if we can get a bite. Batman: Arkham City is out October 18 in the US and October 21 in the UK.
