Batman: Arkham Origins to contain multiplayer – report
Batman: Arkham Origins could be the first in the series to contain multiplayer mode, if a source close to Kotaku is accurate. According to the report, players will be able to step into the shoes of villains from the series and battle it out against Batman and Robin. Gameplay would see players as members of either Bane or Joker’s gang which include all sorts of familiar faces. We won’t delve into that end too much on here in case you want to remain unscathed, plus we don’t want to get yelled at. It hurts our feelings. We’ve sent a mail to Warner on the matter. Batman: Arkham Origins is out in October 25 for PC, PS3, Wii U and Xbox 360.

LEGO Batman 2 insert shows up in new LEGO Super Hero sets
Inserts included in a new collection of LEGO Super Hero toys pretty much confirm what everyone already knew: LEGO Batman 2 is in development for multiple systems. While the new LEGO sets are due for an official release in 2012, some US store are already stocking the toys, the boxes of which contain ads for the Warner game inside the pages of the instruction manual. Called LEGO Batman 2- Super Heroes, both the Bat and Justice League pals Superman and Wonder Woman are shown. More LEGO sets are to include Green Lantern and villains such as Lex Luthor and The Joker, so it’s being speculated that they will, in turn, pop up in the new videogame. The first word on a LEGO Batman sequel showed up over the summer via an LA Times feature on Warner. A release date along with an official announcement has yet to be made, but the game is expected sometime next year on 3DS, PC, PS3, Vita, Wii, and Xbox 360.
Thanks, MCV.
