Awesomenauts developer Ronimo Games has released a new trailer for its 1.17 patch, which is now live on Steam. The update adds a new map called Aiguillon and two new character skins. Watch the trailer here.

Romino has written in to let us know it’s nearly finished a new map for unusual MOBA Awesomenauts. The new map will be on show at the Indie Megabooth at Pax East as well as at GDC’s Indiego exhibition. Boasting a whole new layout, the map is set on Leon’s homeworld, Aiguillon, and is centred on a stealth orb granting temporary invisibility as well as hosting plenty of hiding spots. In other Awesomenauts news, two new skins, Coco McFly and Bionic Raelynn, are available now. Awesomenauts is nourished by a grass roots community eSports scene and is available on Steam.

Awesomenauts is soon to introduce a new contender to its ranks, the gluttonous monk Genji.

Awesomenauts patch 1.14 is now live, and it introduces seasonal leaderboards. Season One starts today, which means all leaderboard have been reset; however, you can still check out the previous leaderboard standings using the new “history” feature under “season 0″. Two new skins have also been released: Pimpy G and Double-O Yuri. Check out the patch through Steam.

Romino Games has released a new patch for the PC version of its unique take on the MOBA genre, Awesomenauts. Version 1.13 brings a number of fixes and balance tweaks, but more importantly it includes a new skin for Clunk developed in collaboration with Mojang. Interestingly, you can’t buy a Minecraft Creeper skin – you have to earn it, by beating somebody else with one. Awesomenauts has received a new pirate-themed DLC pack for Vinnie & Spike, which lovingly slaps a pirate skin on the duo, as well as giving them a roster of swashbuckling new dialogue. We’ve got the Steam link, screens and pricing below land-lubbers.

Half-Life and Awesomenauts skins will be included in Skin Pack 3 for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition. According to playxbla, the pack is listed “coming soon”, but in lieu of a date, the blog posted shots of the skins to keep you placated.

Awesomenauts is set to add another DLC character to its cast, rounding the roster out to ten with a new tank.

Awesomenauts has been updated on Steam to support character skins, which is handy because a whole bunch of character skins have ben released. There are nine skins at $2.50 each or all of them in a bundle for $15. The cosmetic packs join a number of other more substantial packs as well as a handful of free content updates for the PC version of the cartoon-inspired, side-scrolling MOBA.

Ronimo’s MOBA Awesomenauts has arrived on Steam for PC. It will run you$9.99 / £6.99/ €9.99, and it comes with Team Fortress 2 items: Lonestar hat, Yuri jetpack, and  Awesomenauts medal. A Mac version is listed as coming soon.

Romino has delivered on a promised patch for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Awesomenauts. Update the stripped-back MOBA to check out Coco Nebulon and Derplm Zork. Awesomenauts is on its way to PC, too, but has not been dated – and may arrive with another new addition to the roster.

Awesomenauts Steam beta participants have turned up a teaser image for a new character, according to PSNStores. The first new characters for the stripped-back MOBA title are expected to go live in a free update to the consoles versions later today, ahead of its debut on PC in the near future. The silhouette looks a little like villain Big Baddy; see it in full through the break.
