Capcom’s released a new trailer for CyberConnect 2′s upcoming Asura’s Wrath, and it contains plently of gameplay footage. The movie shows the game’s lead character fighting with various enemy types and dishing out some serious damage. It also shows some of the game’s QTEs, and it’s all looking very exciting. The title’s scheduled for a February 2012 release for PS3 and Xbox 360. Video is after the break.

Along with sending over shots from Asura’s Wrath, Capcom has also provided a North American release date of February 21, 2012 for the action title. We’re going to assume, due to the date, it will be released in the UK on February 24, but we’ll ask just to make sure. The game invites players to step into the shoes of Asura, and guide him through a player-controlled narrative as he takes out his revenge on the seven Guardian Generals who framed him for his wife’s murder, and for taking his daughter captive. Bastards. Asura’s Wrath will be released on Xbox 360 and PS3.

Capcom’s announced its TGS lineup – right as I say it hasn’t – confirming Street Fighter x Tekken and Asura’s Wrath for the show. Also a lock for the show is Dragon’s Dogma, Sengoku Basara 3, Resident Evil: Revelations and Monster Hunter Diary G. All titles will be playable. The lineup is lacking some other star names, including Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor – re-revealed at gamescom after a debut at last year’s TGS – and Ninja Theory’s DMC, but you can probably guess it’ll be shown to the media behind closed doors.

Unity’s gone live with a half-hour’s worth of footage from Asura’s Wrath that Capcom livestreamed from the show, with the build that was meant to be shown only to press getting a look in. Team members from CyberConnect2 and Capcom are in the video too to talk about the game. There’s also a hot springs bit at the beginning where, in a gist, you look at tits and drink. Why would you not want to watch this below the break is beyond us.

Capcom’s announced its full line-up for PAX, announcing it’s bringing Street Fighter x Tekken, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Street Fighter III: Third Strike – Online Edition, Street Fighter IV: Volt for iOS, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, Resident Evil: Revelations, Dead Rising 2: Off the Record, Dragon’s Dogma and Asura’s Wrath. All games will be playable at Booth #3425 to those attending the Seattle event this weekend

Capcom’s released a new trailer for their upcoming hack and slash title Asura’s Wrath. It features the game’s protagonist and a dude who’s got a hairstyle resembling the mane of a lion, fighting Street Fighter style. No really. The trailer also features some cool QTE sequences and looks really fun. The Cyber-Connect2 developed actioner has no date yet but is in development for PS3, and Xbox 360. Capcom’s announced its line-up for gamescom, confirming it’ll bring Street Fighter x Tekken, Dragon’s Dogma, Resident Evil: Revelations for 3DS and Asura’s Wrath to the showfloor, with all games being playable. Capcom’s booth will be at Hall 6 of the Koelnmesse in Cologne. We will be there, obviously.

Capcom has released a few trailers for Asura’s Wrath, and a couple show some older gameplay footage, but it will help you recall what an odd, interesting title this looks as though it is going to be. It’s slated for sometime next year on PS3 and Xbox 360. The developer, CyberConnect2, has said it plans to reveal more on the game as it gets closer to release. There’s some screens here too.
