Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed 3 is the “fastest-selling game in the company’s history,” with total sell-through topping the 7 million mark worldwide in one month of release.

Assassin’s Creed 3: The Hidden Secrets Pack arrived today on the Xbox Live Marketplace, along with Deal of the Week Tropico 4 and a Michael Jackson The Experience Kinect sale. Other titles on the docket from now until December 18 include DLC for Guardians of Middle-earth, the Forza Horizon Rally Expansion Pack, Black Knight Sword and Battlefield 3: Aftermath. Ubisoft has said it’s working to fix a rare Assassin’s Creed 3 bug which wipes saved game data. The bug occurred with the release of the game’s latest DLC, Hidden Secrets.

Assassin’s Creed 3′s first downloadable content pack, The Hidden Secrets, is now available for Season Pass owners on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. The content will arrive on PSN in Europe tomorrow, December 5 for pass holders.

Assassin’s Creed 3 looks pretty good on PC, and nVidia is particularly proud of how nice it appears backed up by GeForce GPUs. You get a free copy of Assassin’s Creed 3 if you pick up a GTX 600-series, so check out this video showing off the fanc-pants graphics tech which might convince you to do that.

The Assassin’s Creed Anthology has been announced by Ubisoft for the UK, and it includes all games in the franchise as well as DLC for all titles, including the Season Pass for Assassin’s Creed 3.

Assassin’s Creed 3 hasn’t been out all that long, but Ubisoft is supposedly canvassing opinion for a sequel among fans, if an unearthed survey is anything yo go by. The questions include ask about gamer’s desire for yearly sequels, co-op functionality, and a greater emphasis on Uncharted 3-style platforming. Get the details below.

Assassin’s Creed 3 is out now on PC, but the Steam version is nowhere to be found on Valve’s UK store front. The same fate will befall Far Cry 3 when it launches next week, and publisher Ubisoft is currently in talks with Valve to remedy the situation.

Assassin’s Creed 3′s first single-player has gone live with the Leave No Witnesses event. In it, players will need to kill as many enemies as possible. Replaying memories counts, so even if you have already finished the full game and its side quests, you still have a chance to win prizes. The top scoring player on each platform will win a Season Pass which unlocks all DLC once upon release. A Season Pass will also be handed out to a random participant on each platform. In order to participate, you will need to sign up through here. Leave No Witnesses is just one of several single-player events planned, alongside the ones for multiplayer. The game released yesterday on PC.

An Assassin’s Creed 3 patch is set to go live by the end of next week, thus, Ubisoft is calling it the Thanksgiving patch. It’s a rather huge patch, which fixes many different things such as the chases, and Connor’s hood should start acting normal again, because you know, hoods have a mind of their own and can act a bit psycho at times. A small breakdown of the patch can be found though the Ubisoft forums, but a more detailed version is posted on a different hub page due to the fact it contains spoilers. In other words, click the second link at your own risk.

Revolution, the first Assassin’s Creed 3 multiplayer event, started today, Ubisoft has announced. Players are being asked to rack up 3 million kills and rewards will be handed out. It is unknown at press time what the rewards will consist of, or how long the event will last. To participate, click on the Events option in the multiplayer menu and start getting your progress tracked by Ubisoft. More events are planned for the future, with each offering rewards for participation, individual objectives, and community goals. Thanks, Eurogamer.
