Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation bug threatens save files
Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation players have been hit by a nasty bug, according to a number of reports gathered by PocketGamer. The issue reportedly leaves players stranded at the Animus loading screen even after reset and reload, and while Ubisoft has been made aware of the issue, there’s no ETA on a fix. Make regular back ups using the Vita’s content manager so in a worst case scenario you won’t lose much progress.

With Hurricane Sandy bearing down I’d expect you to have other matters on your mind, but on the off chance, be advised, via Kotaku, that midnight launches for Assassin’s Creed 3 have been cancelled in areas likely to be affected by Hurricane Sandy. Call ahead if you’re unsure whether your local store is staying open, and if you really must get hold of a game you’ll be unable to play when the electricity goes out, Kotaku also notes that some vendors have broken street date in compensation for the cancelled launches. (Also, Kotaku’s inaccessible from my desk right now; let’s blame Sandy for that, too.) Stay safe, friends.
