The Assassin’s Creed Anthology has been announced by Ubisoft for the UK, and it includes all games in the franchise as well as DLC for all titles, including the Season Pass for Assassin’s Creed 3.

Ubisoft has announced a novelization of Assassin’s Creed III will be released on December 4. Written by Oliver Bowden, the novel “Assassin’s Creed: Forsaken” will tell the origins of Connor, who has “sworn to secure liberty for his people and his nation and unleashes his powerful skills on the chaotic, blood-soaked battlefields of the hostile American wilderness.” The book will retail for $9.99. The Ancestors Character Pack for Assassin’s Creed: Revelations has been released for PC and Xbox 360. It’s to be released for PS3 tomorrow, December 14. It contains the Privateer, Corsair, Brigand and Gladiator multiplayer characters, personalized taunts and stylized assassination moves, and new multiplayer customization items. It will run you 320 MSP/£3.19/$3.99. A video for it is posted below.

The Ancestors character pack will release for Assassin’s Creed: Revelations on December 13. It will unlock the following four additional multiplayer characters: “the swashbuckling Privateer, the devious siren Corsair, the battle-tested Brigand and the bloodthirsty Gladiator.” Each one has personalized assassinations, taunts and weapons. It will run you $3.99/320 MSP via PSN and XBL, respectively, and is available for pre-order. The core game launched in the US today, and is out in the UK on November 18. The PC version of the game is set for release November 29 in the US, and December 2 in the UK. Thanks, Gematsu.

Ubisoft has released a video showing the making of the Encyclopedia, available in the Assassin’s Creed: Revelations Animus Edition. The foreword of the encyclopedia was written by Cliff Bleszinski, and includes artwork from the Cartes Blanches Ubisoft commissioned from various artists and fans. The Encyclopedia features 256 pages with entries on the major characters, events and other important aspects of the Assassin’s Creed universe. Revelations is out on November 15.
