Angry Birds Space arrives on Steam
Angry Birds Space is already available on PC in the Chrome Web Store, but if you don’t use Chrome and want to play while you appear to be working, Rovio have brought the game to Steam.

Angry Birds Space updated with Red Planet expansion
Angry Birds Space has been updated with the Red Planet expansion. It contains a new pig to bash as well as 20 new levels. NASA’s Curiosity Rover has been added as well, and you can bet the pigs have done something to it. The video is below.

Angry Birds Space hits 100 million downloads in 76 days
Rovio has announced Angry Birds Space has been downloaded over 100 million times in the 76 days its been available. Back in May, the firm revealed in its financial reports the series has a whole had been downloaded over 1 billion times.

Angry Birds Space issues free update with ten new levels
Update your iOS install of Angry Birds Space to benefit from the freshly-released Fry Me To The Moon update. The free pack adds in ten new levels in which those troublesome pigs orbit icy planets, making them even harder to take down. Angry Birds Space has totted up over 20 million downloads through the App Store, so all iDevice fans will score 20 free space eagles. Nice.

Angry Birds Space now available at UK retail
Focus Multimedia has announced Rovio’s Angry Birds Space is now available at UK retail for PC, and online through its online store. It will run you £10.20.

Angry Birds Space hits 10 million downloads in first three days, confirms Rovio
Angry Birds Space was downloaded 10 million times in its first three days, Rovio has said. It said in a tweet: “10 million Angry Birds Space downloads in less than 3 days! Thanks to our fans, stay tuned for more!”
The title launched on iOS, Android, Mac and PC last week, with a Windows Phone 7 version coming soon at some point.

Angry Birds Space set for launch with new trailer
Rovio has released the launch trailer for Angry Birds Space which will be available for Android, iOS, PC, and Mac tomorrow, March 22. The title comes with 60 levels, six new characters and superpowers, and gameplay features based on a zero-gravity setting. The game will also be released at retail on April 20 courtesy of Focus Multimedia.

Rovio: It’s up to Sony whether Angry Birds will eventually release on Vita
Rovio’s plans for porting Angry Birds Space are just as ambitious as they were with the original, Rovio’s chief marketing Peter Vesterbacka has said the firm would like to see Angry Birds Space “on all the screens,” but due to limited resources, it focused on Android, iOS, Mac and PC for launch with other platforms coming “shortly after.”
