Activision has released a set of screenshots for the Housemarque-developed Angry Birds Trilogy. Have a look below. Angry Birds Trilogy will be available in Q4 on Kinect for Xbox 360, PlayStation3 with Move capability and Nintendo 3DS. The collection will include Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio. The game will run you $39.99 on consoles and $29.99 on 3DS.

Angry Birds Trilogy to release on PS3, 360, 3DS around the holidays
Rovio has announced the Angry Birds Trilogy Activision teased during E3 will is being revamped for HDTV’s for Ps3 and Xbox 360, the firm’s EVP of game Petri Järvilehto has said. It is also coming to 3DS. “You can think of the game as the ultimate collector’s edition,” he told IGN. “There are new cinematics, extras and other entertaining content. In addition all of the existing material has been uprezzed and re-treated for the high-resolution and big screen.” The collection will include Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio on one disc or 3DS cartridge. It will also support Kinect. Mobe, and StreetPass for each respective system. Expect it to land around the holidays.

Angry Birds Seasons gets Blossom update
Rovio’s launching a Cherry Blossoms update for Angry Birds Seasons this week for iOS, Android and Symbian devices. Feature a blossom-filled background from Mt Fuji, It’ll have 15 new levels and two additional bonus levels to boot.

Rovio: 6.5 million people downloaded Angry Birds on Christmas Day
Rovio has announced that 6.5 million people downloaded Angry Birds to their smartphones on Christmas Day, double the number of phone activations estimated to have occurred over the holidays. “We’re really excited to have such a massive number of new people get acquainted with Angry Birds over the holidays — we have exciting new releases lined up for 2012, and can’t wait to introduce them to the public,” Rovio’s Ville Heijari told AllThingsD. The figure represents all three versions of the game: Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio, in both paid and free downloads. The number of downloads for the game is up over Christmas 2010, when 2 million people acquired the game on both iOS and Android devices. Thanks, Joystiq.
