Platinum has released some new shots of Anarchy Reigns which introduce the viewer to Maximilian Anarchy. Max is a fugitive who was once the leader of Leo and Nicoli’s Strike One group, and in the game he is on the lam and the game’s Jack and Leo are after him. There’s also a look at the character Douglass and you’ll also notice shots of Bayonetta in there as well. Videos for Max and Douglass were posted earlier in the week here. This week’s Famitsu is carrying confirmation of a May 31 Japanese release for the demo of Anarchy Reigns. The demo will come with a taste of the single-play portion and two options from multiplayer.

The Platinum brawler launches on July 3 in the US and July 5 in the UK for PS3 and 360. Andriasang has more on it, plus details on Bayonetta’s appearance in the game.

Platinum has released an 11 minute gameplay video for Anarchy Reigns. We’re not sure what is being said, as we don’t speak Japanese, but there’s a lot of death and killing going on which we got completely. The multiplayer action title is out in July on PS3 and Xbox 360. Thanks, Dark.
