Hot off yesterday’s Game Centre Kindle Fire announcement, Amazon has more gaming goodness up its sleeve. The retail giant has expended its marketplace to include free-to-play and MMO games via a system called Game Connect. The platform allows users to make in-game purchases via an existing Amazon account, giving the site a cut off the profit and providing another secure payment option for nervy gamers. World of Tanks, Super Monday Night Combat and Pandora Saga are already on board; find out more here.

Amazon has a really good deal going on at the moment if you are in the market for Max Payne 3 on PS3 or Xbox 360. Online retail giant Amazon has slapped an October 9 release date on Lionhead’s Kinect exclusive Fable: The Journey. The adventure had previously been slotted only for the holiday season. The Journey puts players in charge of a horse and cart and has them traveling the highways ofAlbion aiding – or ignoring – those in need along the way. It’s not on rails – mostly.

Sony hasn’t sent an announcement, but Amazon expects a fairly fancy pile of goodies with a Collector’s Edition of God of War: Ascension.

As in the UK, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will favour US retailers with exclusive DLC characters. Best Buy and Amazon offer both Michelle Chang and Angel with pre-orders, while GameStop pre-orders include four characters, with Ancient Ogre and Kunimitsu making up the numbers. The tag-team fighter arrives on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in September.

Square Enix has outlined a number of pre-order bonuses for Hitman: Absolution, including exclusive weapons and suits.

CNET’s reporting that Amazon Japan has launched a service to buy used games. As per Kotaku, the retailer pays shipping charges for discs. Payment is made in Amazon vouchers.

Amazon and GAME UK have already kicked off pre-orders for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 following the Treyarch shooter’s official reveal last night. Amazon’s opened pre-orders on PS3, 360 and PC at £42.68 for PS3, £42.90 for Xbox 360 and £44.87 on PC. GAME’s offering it for £44.99 on PS3 and 360 or £39.99 on PC. Those who order the PS3 or 360 version with the latter, though, will get a MW3 prestige token that will unlock a new weapon, double XP, new class or more.

Black Ops 2 launches on November 13 worldwide.

You can pick up the PC version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution for just $6.99 thanks to it being on sale through Amazon’s digital distribution service for PC this week.

Amazon’s US side has dropped a motherload off Mass Effect 3′s price today, putting the BioWare RPG on sale for today only at $29.99 on PS3, 360 and PC. Talk of the ending and boss fights aside, at $30, you’d be legally insane to not buy it now. Go do it.

Noire is $5, the Dragon Age Pack which includes Origins Ultimate and Dragon Age 2 will run you $10, and The Darkness 2 is just $12.50.
