Machinarium headed to European PlayStation Network in September

A clever sort posting on the EU PS Blog hazarded a guess that September’s PlayStation Plus content would include Machinarium, Amanita’s charming adventure. “Give the man a cookie, he’s 100% right,” Sony’s Ross McGrath replied. The point-and-clicker first released in 2009 but is yet to make it to a PlayStation console; the ESRB has listed it as a Vita release. Expect an announcement and word of US release soon.

Thanks, PSNStores.

Amanita to offer free goodies for Botanicula pre-orders as apology

Amanita has said to RPS it’ll offer free goods to players who had a pre-order for Botanicula on GoG and GamersGate. It comes as the game was included in the new Humble Bundle, where players could pick a price for the game instead of the typical $10. Now Amanita CEO Jakub Dvorský has said it plans to give pre-orders the game’s soundtrack, an artbook and a free copy of Machinarium today.
