Klei have launched the paid alpha to their turned based espionage strategy game Incognita, which marks a fair departure from their previous games like Mark of the Ninja and Don’t Starve. The alpha build contains a single, albeit “randomly generated” level with a few agents and almost none of the final game’s progression systems. Check out the alpha’s trailer after the cut.

Big Robot has announced the Alpha for Sir, You Are Being Hunted will be open to all Kickstarter backers come August 19 through the Humble Store and Steam. Anyone who backed the Kickstarter or pre-ordered will instantly get the game and those who buy the game on Steam or the Humble Store will also be granted immediate access from that date as well as all future updates of the game. Sir, You Are Being Hunted is in development for Linux, Mac, and PC and is available for pre-order now. More information on the game’s current state is through the RPS link.

Half-Life may be considered by many to be a true innovation of in gaming, but the game was – understandably – not always as pristine and cutting edge as it was when it released in 1998. Alpha footage of the game in its early stages reveals a different side to the game, and better yet, you can play the alpha build for yourself.

You can now pay €3 to actually play one-man MMO Love’s alpha. Yep, it’s true. Look at RPS.
Developer Eskil Steenberg, the only person working on the indie game, has opened up the non-playable alpha to allow people to properly test it, but wants a bit of cash as servers, obviously, cost money.
Help him out. It’s one pint less this week.
