Team Fortress 2 Adult Swim items inbound
It seems to be a good day for Valve crossovers; Team Fortress 2 is about to snaffle a swag of new Adult Swim items. My approach to cable TV is somewhat Amish in nature so I can’t illuminate the situation any further, but this Adult Swim page shows off some of the items. The new DLC will be presented in a dedicated Adult Swim store but has not been dated beyond “soon”.
Thanks, PCGamesN.

Adult Swim and Valve teaming up for something Team Fortress 2-related
Valve and Adult Swim are teaming up for something pertaining to Team Fortress 2. Whatever the announcement is, it’s slated for next week, so, yeah, an announcement of an announcement. Anyway, there’s a promotional page available here, which asks if you would like to sign up for the news letter with the tease: “To learn how their video game peanut butter will be getting in our network’s chocolate, come back next week.” No word if the ARG going on right now with Team Fortress 2 is part of the tease, but we wouldn’t doubt it.

Metalocalypse: Dethgame officially declared dead

Fictional metal band/world superpower Deathklok has climbed the highest mountains and descended the darkest depths of the sea, all to deliver its headbang-friendly, amp-blasting brand of music to every corner of the earth. But there’s one place so metal that you won’t even find Deathklok’s spike-encrusted boot-print there:
Xbox Live Arcade.

Spore: Galactic Adventures to have Robot Chicken DLC

EA has announced that Spore: Galactic Adventures will have downloadable content made available from the wacky Robot Chicken folks.
The content will contain everything from angry yetis, exploding poo, librarians with rulers, and who knows what else from the demented minds of co-creators Seth Green and Matt Senreich.
“We’re big fans of Spore, so teaming up on Spore Galactic Adventures was a natural fit and so much fun for all the guys at Robot Chicken,” said Green.
“We’re all gaming geeks, so when the Spore guys said they had an alluring proposition for us, how could we say no?” added Senreich.
“Instead of creating absurd worlds with toys, this gave us the opportunity to create literally anything we wanted as gamers. Geek moment. We think that RC fans will love the pretty random and absurd adventures we created and we can’t wait to goof around with the ones the fans create.”
The Robot Chicken DLC will be free and launches on June 23 with the game.
Press release is below.

Adopt a unique kind of virtual pet with My Lil’ Bastard

Adult Swim has always been known for having quirky, out-there and sometimes hilariously obscene flash games on their site, and today they have released a new one called My Lil Bastard — which is no exception.
Pamper, toilet train, feed and punish your very own virtual pet that is much more wacky than anything Tamagotchi could ever come up with. The best (worst) part of it is the poo and vomit.
With games like 5 Minutes to Kill Yourself, Ultimate Vending Machine Challenge, and Bible Fight who knows what those lovable weirdos will come up with next.
Most likely something fun.
See for yourself here.
