Hawken dev diary shows off ‘Front Line’ map
Hawken developer Adhesive Games has published a new dev diary clip, this time showing off a map called Front Line, and discussing how the locale plays out during matches.

Hawken update includes Facility map, gameplay balancing, interface improvements, more
Hawken’s latest update has gone live, and includes the latest map, Facility, which send pilots back to the Illalian desert which contains structures unblemished by the Hawken virus. Facility is a “pristine, functioning installation” and was previously available to play in the open beta as an unskinned test map. Along with the map, the update contains new customizations, gameplay balancing, and interface improvements. You can view the list of patch notes through the official website, and have a look at the new map through a video and screens below.

Hawken opens local Australian, Japanese and Singaporean servers
Hawken publisher Meteor and developer Adhesive Games have opened servers for Australian, Japanese and Singaporean gamers. Ausgamers reports these new destinations aren’t just dedicated servers located in the US, but properly hosted local offerings. You can get on board your closest server from the drop-down regional menu in the matchmaking menu. What’s that? You’re not in the closed beta? Oh gosh, I tripped and fell and spilled a bunch of keys everywhere. So clumsy. Hawken launches on December 12.

Hawken closed beta dates revealed, registration open now
