Assassin’s Creed goes real-life with parkour specialist Ronnie Shalvis

Assassin’s Creed 3 was at PAX this past weekend, and during a panel, it was announced that a video featuring parkour specialist Ronnie Shalvis would be released. The video, which is posted below, is set to a composition called “Assassin” by Stephen Anderson featuring Shalvis leaping about the city dressed as an Assassin. A behind-the-scenes video has also been released. Assassin’s Creed 3 is out next month. Via Polygon.

Assassin’s Creed 3: Second behind-the-scenes trailer delves into combat

The second Inside Assassin’s Creed 3 video has been released by Ubisoft. Episode 2 focuses on the game’s combat, tactics, weapons and the like. It’s below, courtesy of Gamespot. We’ll have the video up on our YouTube channel for you tomorrow once the timed exclusivity of the video ends. You can re-watch part one through here. Assassin’s Creed 3 hits PS3 and Xbox 360 in late October, PC in late November, and Wii U when the console finally graces retail shelves.

Assassin’s Creed 3 – Alex Hutchinson walks you through naval warfare

The Assassin’s Creed 3 Naval demonstration shown during gamescom has been re-released as a walk-through by Ubisoft. It features added narration from series creative director, Alex Hutchinson. Players will be able to navigate the waters around the American colonies and command their own naval warship, complete with cannons and other naval weaponry. Assassin’s Creed 3 is out at the end of October.

Assassin’s Creed 3 contains 60 minutes of exclusive content on PS3, per Amazon UK

Assassin’s Creed 3 will contain 60 extra minutes content exclusively on PS3, according to Amazon UK. During E3 2012, Sony announced during its press conference the PS3 version of the game would contain DLC not available on PC or Xbox 360. This must be what Amazon’s box art is implying. Assassin’s Creed: Forsaken – novel tells the story of AC3′s Connor

Ubisoft has announced a novelization of Assassin’s Creed III will be released on December 4. Written by Oliver Bowden, the novel “Assassin’s Creed: Forsaken” will tell the origins of Connor, who has “sworn to secure liberty for his people and his nation and unleashes his powerful skills on the chaotic, blood-soaked battlefields of the hostile American wilderness.” The book will retail for $9.99. Assassin’s Creed III screens show Wolf Pack multiplayer mode

Some screenshots for the multiplayer portion of Assassin’s Creed III have popped up on AGB. We’ll pulled them and posted the lot for you below. Three of them will look familair to you, as they were posted back in early June. But, the new ones more than make up for the duplicates. Assassin’s Creed III launches at the end of October for PS3 and 360, and on Wii U around the console’s launch. A PC version will be out before Christmas.

Source claims Assassin’s Creed III PC will release in late November

A publishing source has told Eurogamer that the PC version of Assassin’s Creed 3 won’y release for the system until November 23. The date was provided to Eurogamer.cz, but Ubisoft has countered the claim by stating the date for the PC version “is still to be announced,” which goes along with the TBD notation we’ve seen in press releases regarding the game. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions are slated for October with a date for the Wii U version TBD as well.

Assassin’s Creed 3 gameplay video shows Connor in Boston

A video showing gameplay from Assassin’s Creed III has popped up on YouTube. It shows Connor slinking around the marketplace in Boston killing Redcoats and rescuing a local from physical punishment involving public humiliation via the Stocks. It’s not the best quality, but it’s definitely watchable, and posted below. Game’s out in October. Thanks, Edo.

Immerse yourself in the E3 Frontier demo for AC3

Ubisoft has released the Frontier demo for Assassin’s Creed III, which was shown during E3 last week. The video, posted below, also contains narration from the game’s creative director Alex Hutchinson. For good measure, there’s also an interview from Toby “Tobuscus” Turner below where he speaks and raps with Hutchinson, and ComDev Gabriel Graziani as well. It’s a bit odd, as you would expect from him. Game’s out in October on PS3 and Xbox 360, with a date TBA on PC. The game will also release on Wii U during its launch window.

Assassin’s Creed III multiplayer screenshots bring the impending pain

Screenshots for the multiplayer portion of Assassin’s Creed III have surfaced. At first glance, I thought the lady had a hook for a hand instead of just packing one around. On further examination, it looks like a more rustic version of the Hookblade, but if I were to add a real-world application to it – I’d say it’s exactly like the hook I use when dealing with hay bales. No matter- whatever it is, it looks painful. Game’s out in October.

Ubisoft has released a set of screenshots and the box art for Assassins Creed III: Liberation. It stars a female protagonist Aveline, who leaps around 18th century New Orleans looking for Templars and other enemies in a city full of rebellion against the Spanish Empire’s rule.
