Home hits 10 million users
PlayStation Home now has 10 million registered users, SCEE said this morning.
The milestone hits as the firm opens new spaces for Uncharted 2 and Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time in the online “world”.
“PlayStation Home is fast becoming the meeting place of choice between users and developers,” said Dan Hill, European Home Business Manager at SCEE.
“Every new game space enhances the overall experience for consumers, offering more variety, more choice and more enjoyment from a PlayStation Home session.

7 DS games have passed 10 million mark, says Nintendo

Seven DS games have sold more than 10 million units, Nintendo said yesterday, with 83 titles now having sold more than 1 million copies.
The seven to break the 10 million mark are Nintendogs, New Super Mario Bros. Brain Age, Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, Mario Kart DS, Brain Age 2, and Animal Crossing: Wild World.
Nintendo confirmed last night that DS has now shipped more than 100 million hardware units worldwide.

GTA IV sells over 10 million
Take-Two has confirmed tonight that GTA IV has now sold more than 10 million units.
The news comes alongside Q3 results for fiscal 2008, which show the firm’s revenues for the period up over 100 percent year on year. Guess why.

PSP passes 10 million sales in Japan
According to Famitsu – via Kotaku – PSP has now sold more than 10 million hardware units in Japan.
The figure was attained between the launch date of December 12, 2004 and August 24, 2008.
The top five bestselling games for the machine were also released. Capcom must be pleased.

10 million PSPs sold in Japan
Sony’s issued a press release confirming PSP has sold over 10 million units in Japan.
From the release: “Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. today announced that the cumulative sell-in units of PSP handheld entertainment system (PSP-1000 and 2000 series) reached a total of 10 million units in Japan as of July 15, 2008.”
“On the games front, there are over 580 titles now available in Japan alone,” it says, and promises loads more titles soon.

Call of Duty 4 hits 10 million units
News.com‘s reporting that Call of Duty 4 has passed the 10 million unit mark.
Apparently the site was given the figure by Infinity Ward studio head Vince Zampella.
This makes the shooter one of only ten games to hit the sales milestone since 2000. Drive yourself mad trying to work out what the other nine are.
