Project Eternity crowd-funding closes on $4.3 million

Project Eternity from Obsidian Entertainment has proven to be a crowd-funding success, as the studio closed its funding drive with $4.3 million in the bank across PayPal donations and Kickstarter pledges. We reported that the game’s funding tiers are now closed earlier today, but even if you missed the boat you can still get involved. Project Eternity crowdfunding reward tiers closing today

If you’re keen to nab some of the rewards available to those who help crowdfund Obsidian Entertainment’s Project Eternity, you need to get on it now. A PayPal donation option, the last recourse for rewards before funding ends forever, will be closed as of 6:00PM PST today – that’s just over an hour away at time of writing. If you miss the deadline, you’ll still be able to contribute, but doing so won’t earn you any sweet bonuses – it’s basically just a pre-order. Visit the RPG’s website now to view reward tiers and get involved if you’re keen. Project Eternity is expected on PC in April 2014.

DayZ Bounty is a new, unofficial mod for Dean Hall and Bohemia Interactive’s sandbox survival title. PLEX purchase with PayPal available again in EVE Online

Just a heads up: EVE Online once again accepts PayPal in order for players to to purchase PLEX. CCP had suspended the option to investigate a potential issue with the payment service. The firm said the investigation has completed and PayPal service has been restored. For those who have no idea what PLEX is, it’s a Pilot License Extension, or an item, which adds 30 days of game time to a players EVE Online account.

Explosive Alan Productions, which was formed by members of the now defunct Inside Xbox team, has raised $16,762 towards a new multi-format show which for the time being is codenamed Project Possum.
