Wow, PC nerd hates me, how weird :D
Oh, and by the way, still awaiting your response on how PS3 could be hacked using usb dongle, and oh, that PCGamer article.
I may start taking you more seriously if you stop running around like a when you are caught saying gibberish though, like above 2 examples. Still too ashamed to admit it, aren't you :D
By the way, just so you know, Ninty has filed a petition in US stating Russia as a hotspot for piracy, and hopes something is done to stop/prevent that. Something you need to be worried about??
Odd what you say, I was pretty sure their marketing is "THE" best , if not at-least on par with MS in South America (cant say about Mexico and those regions which are probably controlled by SCEA). Hell, there is even a Brazilian unveil of PS4 (probably) on May 9 AFAIK.
Thing is, Sony marketing is more global, then comes MS (still most moolah is spent by them in bigger markets, however I heard they have a 360 production factory in Brazil), and Ninty comes last (almost no marketing outside eu/us/japan).
Yup, its Pokemon, Zelda, Kid Icarus (they made Project Sora team just for it), bit surprised about Fire Emblem.
On the whole, I think Sony is more interested in marketing the console itself rather than hardcore games like SS, which they expect hardcore gamers to find out anyway.
By the way, lets check Sony games which really bombed (with an obivious fallout like studio closing, severed ties etc.) in 2012-
Twisted Metal, Starhawk, PSASBR, maybe Wonderbook (last I checked UK charts, still selling better than most Wii U games) and .. none
Pretty good failure rate considering how many games Sony publishes. Gravity Rush isn't a failure, there are talks of a sequel, Resistance 3 sold over a million with not much bundling(less than predecessors, but I think they made out a profit), and LBP Karting probably was just a Mod Nation Racer with Sackboy skin (made a loss probably but doesnt seem like anyone expected much from it).
Point is, SS probably cant sell consoles, so marketing it wont be much beneficial, and it probably already made a decent enough profit based on very good Japanese sales.
This is all from biz perspective mind you, as a customer, I would definitely want to do a marketing blitz for every good 1st party Sony game.
And no need to worry about TLOU man, its got very strong pre-orders (more than UC3 at this stage) and Sony looks very smart in marketing it, like that WD Season finale ad.
Food for thought - EA made more money on PSP/Vita (well, they didnt release anything on PSP, except maybe FIFA 13) than Wii/DS/3DS. So they made more on Vita than all other Ninty consoles combined except Wii U. I will let you interpret it further.
By the way, I am out. Spent too much time typing this. Sorry if I cant respond back.
