haha... I always gathered some information about 'Free', So,I have no use for buy games.

I use ShopTo.com for online stuff. Generally very quick and cheap. I also have a LoveFilm account which covers games too.

if you are uk based - consider yourself to be a lucky person. the games are already much cheaper than in germany for example. thats why i order at amazon uk - also i (ab)use gamestop for games i am planning to play through just once...you got 7 days, then return it and get your money back - that´s even cheaper than renting - it will cost you nothing - and a gamestop is just 5 minutes from where i live...i only really BUY games that i will play online for quite a while. i guess many people do it like this and that´s why so many developers try hard to install a good mp in their games - for many this seems to be a turn off because the sp might suffer from that trend...to me that isn´t a bad thing, cause i really enjoy (good) online games

Steam?
I guess you are kinda kept waiting for the good deals there, but it's worth it in my oppinion. I still managed to get Borderlands cheaper than at Play.com, Flashpoint at the same price as Play.com and the best part is, I gots it on my harddrive within a few hours, and there's no silly box taking up space.
Steam is just too convenient for me not to pay an extra 5-10 euros a lot of the time. Beats the fuck out of cardboard and plastic.

Game or Gamestop, really.
That said, I buy off Gameseek every now and then, but only because it has an easier way to pay by PayPal compared to ShopTo (you have to buy your first purchase on there by credit card, I think).

Gamefly. Rent em, see if they stink, if ya want to keep em, their prices are far lower then the retail store, you know if the copy will work, and they send you the unused box/inserts for free afterwards. Gamefly for consoles.
Steam for PC.

If I want to buy a game I use http://www.gamestracker.com to find who has it cheapest online, so I'll pretty much buy from anyone who has the best price.
But since January I've had a Lovefilm movies/games sub so the need to buy has decreased somewhat.
The bastards sent me Bayonetta and Darksiders at once last week, they've sent me quite a few turds over the months then they send two gems at once. I can only play one at a time :(
