Surprising to no one. "Saints Row IV" is going to be $60US at launch. Kind of disappointed in this. But, I guess it was to be expected. Do you guys think what a lot of people are calling "glorified DLC" to be worth the full price of admission?

I bought the Third for 20$ and I still feel jipped so you can guess how I would feel about 3.5 at full price.

To be fair, I can't grumble. I bought SR3 with all DLC in a steam sale for, if I remember correctly, £9. And I had a blast but that said, no games will be a day 1 for me as I have far too much to catch up on and each new release just adds to the pile. So I think I will just bide my time and get it when its £15 or below with all DLC included. Do they not realise that by pricing things so high, people just won't spend the money? Nope, they don't realise, because people DO!

That usually translates to £40 over here in the UK. I plan to drop the Saint Row Brand it is just too over the top for me, i like for it to go back to its roots SR 1/2, these games were over the top but grounded in reality but until then its off my radar.

I thought SR1 was a nice go of it even though it was a little too reminiscent of GTA at the time. I thought SR2 was a perfect balance. The problem I had with SR3 is that within an hour of playing the game, you are an unstoppable force and there really was no challenge to the game. It looks to be more of the same here. If starting out as a millionaire made you invincible before, how about starting out as the POTUS?

I liked SR1, it was a nice sequel to San Andreas. SR2 was boring and rubbish. SR3 was insane and brilliant. It also had heart in spades.
