Now something that is odd. It seems a lot of Reviewers are getting frustrated over "a combat sequence" in GOW. No one is mentioning the difficultly level they are playing, but they are facing troubles none the less. People include - Keza McDonald of IGN UK (on behalf of Alex Simmons of Ign uk), Adam Sessler (Rev3), Holland Cooper (GamesRadar).
Looks like we know who will give the bad reviews then :)
Here is a video on the topic from Adam (due to embargo, he does not mention the game)-

Seriously though, if they blame it on design fault, they must give a good reason. Its one of the most over-used excuse in reviews (unbalanced difficulty my ass).
For example- I played Strangers Wrath previous month on hard, which was supposedly a game with "unbalanced difficulty with unreasonable difficulty spikes". I completed the game in 12 hrs. , including 2 gameplays and the platinum. Similar baseless arguments are given by Souls haters, just because they aren't capable enough to finish the game.
Interesting week its going to be.
PS- Who is doing the dirty job here at VG247? Any hints????
Another note- The part is maybe titled "The Trials of Archimedes". You have been forewarned. The embargo is up on Thursday.
