Okay, first of all, I still have not played Metal Gear Rising. My game rental store only has one example to rent and it's rented every time i try to get my hands on it. Still WANT to play it though I don't think it's worth the high price tag. Will probably buy it if it's around 30 euros.
So anyway, I was surfing the net today and stumbled upon a new Meme called 'Nanomachines, Son'.
Wow, this is bad. Can someone who played the game explain to me how this scene fits the narrative? This is cringeworthy by definition. That's something I would expect to find in a Aaron Seltzer and Jason Friedberg movie, but in MGS?
Wow, how did this get passed? I mean people wrote that, animated it, did the voiceover and not a single person interfered to ask "What the Fuck are we doing?"

Did the games narrative shift it's focus midway through? Because judging by the demo it was trying to be super-edgy and serious.
