Haven't been in Chernarus for a while, I thought I give my MacBook Pro from late 2011 (i7, 2,4GHz, 8GB RAM) a Boot Camp spin on the latest DayZ release from Steam.
The whole installation (Wwindows7, Steam, Arma etc) was without any problems. Albeit at first the headphone jack wasn't working. But that was just clicking on and off the right settings in the menu and plugging in the headphones and it worked.
For the curious here, it's running quite smooth on high settings (Benchmark1: 32fps) and it's pretty enjoyable so far. Only downside: the fans are running at full speed ...
Just wanted to let you know, in case you are also a Apple nut like me, who otherwise only use their computer for work. ;-)
