Ok so ive been playing this today and from what ive played its ok if youre into Splinter Cell casually but i can see fans of the first 3 games being dissapointed. The gameplay is dumbed down a lot but it makes it more fun to me.

Its a bit of both mate, i played the other Splinter Cells and it was hard to survive in a gunfight not so much with Splinter Cell Conviction. Im thinking you could actually play it like a 3rd person shooter if you wanted on the easier difficulties.Im impressed though pretty good it is.

back in the day, one drunken night, me and a friend invented a code.
depending on the situation, saying "sam fisher" would mean i want too/i'm going too elbow this guy in the face.
we never actually got to use the code in a real world situation, but we had many hours of drunken hilarity discussing said possible situations

I reckon its good. Feels different to the previous games, though.
Solid game.
EDIT: Do I have to keep signing in and out when switching between the forum and the main site? That's gonna get annoying.

Just played some of the demo. Unable to finish it as my gaming time is up. :)
I must say I am really impressed so far.
It just feels like the next gen Sam Fisher to me.
Much more moves and much much better looking.

Yep too short a demo, but it played very nicely. I've not really been taken by previous SC games but this one felt good.

It made me want to get it. It was pretty short, but it was short enough to make me want more of it. The gameplay is fun and solid. Graphics aren't anything special, but it's not horrible to look at either.
