I hate and love Jim Sterling at the same time. With that said, I do enjoy his Jimquisition videos as well as his semi-trolling almost every time I see it.On topic of pre-orders though, he is 100 percent correct. Seriously, this Aliens Colonial Marines thing makes the Killzone 2 CG demo look like honest truth.

Jim Sterling is one of very few guys who actually take a critical view to games and the people who make them, so while he may not be god's gift to journalism, I think he's valuable because most other games journalists tend to show a frighteningly small degree of skepticism in general.
He is entertaining though.
I think preordering is a valid business model, but if you're ripping content to tempt people into buying games sight unseen, then you're really not helping your own business.
"Buy this game or lose content" is a lot less appealing than "Buy this game because it's awesome value". Sadly a lot of executives tend to have a pretty violent disdain for common sense.

Jim Sterling is great. I don't always agree with his statements or reviews but when it comes to entertaining game journalism with a bold underline to journalism, he's my man. And I think he gets better and better in shaping up his image ...
