So I was playing around with my TV's video settings tonight, trying to get the best possible picture for gaming (was using a PS3 at the time), and I found that setting the sharpness all the way down to 0 greatly improved the image.
It appeared to have the same effect as anti-aliasing on PC games, in that it smoothed out all the jagged edges, without blurring the image. I honestly can't believe how smooth the edges are now, and how much of an improvement it is.
Does anyone else turn their sharpness down to 0? Is this common knowledge & I'm just discovering it now?
