   Looks like an evolution for home. Maybe something to look forward to in ps4.
   Although as a primarily single player gamer and owner of a crappy net connection, I am just waiting how it pans out.
   Home is a profitable ps3 feature, it makes sense to evolve it into something bigger, maybe vita integration sometime in the future will hook me on.
   Btw, its probably made by the london studio, same guys behind singstar and ps home, so some proven talent there.

   Thoughts?

   As profitable as Home seems to be for Sony, I'm sure it wasn't quite the success they were hoping for. BigFest sounds like the necessary evolution Sony needs to compete with MiiVerse and became an everyday feature for Playstation owners. I'm excited to see what it turns out to be.

   They should get PS Home on Vita. Having a keyboard and touchscreen right there I can see it being a lot easier to use than on PS3. I've only ever dabbled, but there are obviously people who use it a lot.

   Whatever comes after Home needs to be more relevant and useful to the masses.

   As it stands, yeah I kinda agree. Tens of millions have used it at some point however, and whenever I've had a look there are plenty of people who look invested. So it definitely has worth to some.

   Good on Sony for trying. Xbox has great chat capabilities but nothing really comparable to Home. I reckon there'd be a fucktonne of American teens who would use an equivalent XBL service.

   They just need to make it less about standing around chatting and more about actual game interaction. And it needs to be an always-on sort of thing, so you don't have to quit playing to fire it up, just tab over to it if you want to invite, check a game lobby, post a screenshot etc.

   Home is far too abstracted from the games and main interface though. Anything like this to be very successful has to be more integrated. Miiverse is a good start. Don't like the name either, BigFest?

   The name certainly doesn't point to a socially integrated OS.. more to an evolved version of Home, imo.

   I've always said HOME needs to be an optional app that loads up when the PS3 first boots. I hope some how with faster/more memory in the PS4 along with solid state drives it will be possible. HOME has potential and for something thats free to use its not bad at all.

   It would be nice if one day everyone from VG24/7 could meet in HOME and actually have civil conversations for a chance.
