i don't even like racing games :P
Ultimate Box only has the base game, patches, bikes and party packs, none of the extra cars or the island/cop and robbers.
Also, I don't like racing games either and yet have put 45 hours into Burnout Paradise :P
Burnout Paradise was the first racing game I've played since 2002 :D
So i was giving this some serious consideration last night, i re-downloaded the demo, gave it a ten minute blast and realised that driving around crashing into stuff doesn't really float my boat, so i decided to pass on this one.
But, i had a bigger realisation....
I guess i'm not the first person to say this, i'm probably not the ten thousandth, but using the playstaion controllers triggers to accelerate and brake was horrible, really uncomfortable, i felt like my fingers were gonna slip off the triggers.
Design flaw school boy error Sony!!
I think it's fine, but then I position my fingers between L1/L2 instead of on one or the other. That way I can reach both without moving my finger and my fingers don't slip off the sillily convex shaped triggers. :)
Also the game is more about avoiding to crash into things. And that only gets really starts becoming fun once you unlock fast cars. ^.^
using triggers to accelerate is okay with the 360 pad, worse with a Dualshock3.
The second I bought a racing game on the PS3 I also bought those real trigger things to snap onto the controller. The DS3 is nice, but those lower buttons aren't designed to be held for long periods.
yeah, it needs gamecube style scoop shape triggers (i just spent 3 minutes trying to remember which controller it was, how many more years before the gamecube completely vanishes from all our memories )
*Waits For Everyone To Realise Burnout Paradise Is Not Even Considered A Racing Game Anymore..*
Idiots..
LOL Especially At "Burnout Paradise was the first racing game I've played since 2002"
Any word on fixing the mod tools? It seems the captcha has failed.
Thanks
Same point as Fredom, we can't do shit about spam right now. Kinda feeling helpless and pointless.
