So what games are everyone looking to buy this year. My list goes as follows:

1.DMC 2.Dead Space 3 3.Metal Gear Rising 4.Tales of Xillia 5.Last of Us 6.Beyond 2 Souls 7.Fist of the Northstar kens rage 2 8. Dragons Crown 9. Soul Sacrifice 10. Fire Emblem 11. God of War Ascension(was gonna skip due to fatigue but the beta is convincing me otherwise) 12. Pokemon Y (This is a maybe though because as much as I want a 3D pokemon seeing those disclaimers at the bottom of the trailer reminds me of how they switched up the Wii Pokemon game)

I also have some Back buys I have to pick up from last year such as:

1. Star hawk 2. Far cry 3 3. Orgarythm 4. Persona Golden 5. Oddworld strangers wrath vita 6. Resident evil 6 7. Resident evil OR 8.persona arena

Dead Space 3;

Bioshock: Infinite;
Beyond: Two Souls;
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance;
Metro: Last Light (hoping it makes it out);
The Last Guardian (praying it makes it out).

These are all the games that are a complete lock. There's also a slim chance that this year I'll be tempted to pick up a Wii U, and then Mario, Pikmin, Nintendoland, Zombie U and Rayman are on the table. But I'm fighting it with every fibre of my being.

That's all that springs to mind. Not that bothered with GTAV - I often lose momentum in open world, non-RPG games.
Oh yeah and the new Rayman. Fucking loved Origins. Nice one DrD.

Umm Lex Starhawk was free on PS+ last year man. Why didn't you download it? I even sent everyone on my friends list a message bitching at them why they weren't playing it. Its an awesome game and totally underrated in my opinion.

Lightbox you guys are awesome and sorry the game didn't sell big numbers but I'll do my best word of mouth to help sell copies.

Anyway back on topic heres my list....

i hope lost planet 3 turns out good. i loved the first and hated the second...so i'd even buy a mediocore third.

@TG: i'd really love to see you on miiverse and i really enjoy the wiiu a lot myself...but i know that being multiplat is indeed expensive. i don't wanna know how much money i've spent on games and gaming machines current gen. more than ever before, that's for sure. also time managment can become a serious problem if you plan to have a life and also want to play all the great platform exclusives.....and then all the rest as well.

i enjoyed starhawk too. i think the ip has a huge potential. i really hope they will make another one. the first one, while fun didn't really blow me away though. the concept is fantastic. if they can improve on that it could easily be mindblowing.

@polygem: It's not really the money. It's more the fact that it doesn't do a lot of the things that I expect my console to do now. I would expect it to play BRDs if it has a BRD player, even if I have to pay a little extra. I expect it to play my GC games. I expect it to have quick loading (a really important point for me, and something which Ninty were traditionally really fucking aware of to their credit).

Wii U shows no indication of every having any of these features, and especially the no GC support is a killer for me, after I painstakingly curating a fine collection of the sexy small-sized Japanese GC games. I refuse to have another box under the telly, just because Ninty want to sell me all of that shit AGAIN!

Sorry for the rant man, I'm not trying to bash Ninty, in fact I have been a die-hard fan of Ninty for a quarter of a fucking century, but they need to stop gouging and start giving. I think it will be a shame, but I honestly believe that after Wii U they will become a dev/publishing house... (-_-)
