Post says it all guys The Walking Dead a series of graphic novels will soon be coming to the tv made by the creators of the Shawshank Redemption Aleins etc. Cant wait

Awesome, i haven't read this for years, i got up to the bit where some crazy chick turns up outside the prison fence with a samurai sword
i really hope they do it justice
but, thats gonna be some damn depressing viewing, watching everyone slowly get killed one by one (and not always by the zombies)

This should be great, Frank Darabont is fucking awesome (saw The Mist recently, the man can do no wrong in my book). I haven't read the book for a while, stopped around the prison bit too, but can't wait to see what they do with this.

Thus is excellent news! I adore The Walking Dead. Perhaps this spells hope for TV series of Y: The Last Man and Ex Machina.

i'm reading steven kings dark tower, and there was rumors that jj abrams and the other 'lost' guys would be making that a TV series, alas, i just googled it and its not happening :( sad face

Last I heard, DJ Caruso (Disturbia, Eagle Eye) had the movie rights for Y: The Last Man all sewn up. They were going to get Shia LeBeouf to star but I think that fell through. They were going for a film trilogy to try and cover the whole series.
Ex Machina would make pretty good TV though...

Ex Machina would make for the best TV series *ever*. Knowing that The Walking Dead will get the full TV treatment is fantastic news - here's hoping they do one for Y: The Last Man too. Maybe that would improve our chances of getting the Preacher movie/TV series we're all hoping for.
Tbh, the comic show I always wanted was one based of James Robinson's Starman. It almost happened, too (http://www.kryptonsite.com/starman/) - but for now, no dice :(
