I doubt i will as it all just looks like a pain in the arse to me
Do you plan on buying Sony's or Microsofts motion controllers

I know the PS motion controller's appearance might suggest otherwise, but that's not what you're meant to do with it.

no, I'm just not interested in playing such stuff. not even if there will be games actually designed to be controlled like that.

will wait for reviews and see before I buy any...

The PS Wand may well be the killer app that actually convinces me to buy a PS3 -m so far there's nothing else on the platfom that holds enough appeal for me to splurge +/- £300.

Depends on the games that come out supporting them.

loved lightgun action so far.
the possibility of, lets say kz3 with wand makes my groin moist.
so, most likely, yes.
dont have a 360, so obv no natal 4 mePosted 3 years ago # -
from the second i saw natal i thought it was a must get, i really hope some developers do something special with it, as i'm not too interested in jumping around like an arsehole, but sitting in front of my tv using my hand movements to play a puzzle game like that zen rope game on iphone or something
i think there will be a couple of really innovative games made especially with natal in mind, and then a lot of gimmicky shit that i'll avoid
i hope sega make seaman 2 :)

I don't plan on buying any form of motion control. I play games primarily to relax, so jumping around and waving my arms about doesn't really appeal to me.
And as mington just said, it's highly likely that there will be only a handful of games created that will truly showcase the motion control device's capabilities. The other 95% will consist of crap games and shovelware.

No intention of buying these at all, im a self-proclaimed PS fanboy but it really doesnt interest me. I want to sit on th'arse and chill out playing GOW 3, waving a wand about like harry potter doesnt appeal, unless Emma Watson is included. Ive a Wii for making an arse of myself.

Will Probably buy Sony's "Wand" but not Microsoft's "Natal".
My guess is, that Natal will not be precise enough for gaming and too ackward to use in the first place.
Sony's approach looks more natural, not so far away from a standard controller-pad, but I will only buy the Wand if there are games out there making good use of it.Posted 3 years ago # -
I think Natal has the biggest potential out of the two, but it needs to really show it.
It did at E3, but since then, its been on a downward course. Lag especially.
As for the PS3 controller, as Quiiick said, it's probably the most natural of the two, so we need to hear more info on it, and see more games compatible with it.
Hopefully, if Sony gets the keynote at GDC, we'll see a blowout then.

Oh, I completely forgot about GDC! When will it take place this year? February or March?
To me, GDC always has been the most important gaming-event of the year. Despite the fact that it is not consumer oriented.Posted 3 years ago # -
Tuesday March 9 - Saturday March 13 2010.
No big sessions, seminars or any of the two big keynotes announced yet. But I'd expect that to chance within a month.

Out of the two id say Sonys has the most potential as they have the world class studios to make good games for it. Natal sounds strange ive still no idea how it will work
Posted 3 years ago # -
Would they be the same world class studios that brought us all those top notch eyetoy games TH?
/is still bitter about his PS-Eye purchase

I'm buying nothing til it proves its worth, so far I'd say neither has.

Yep PT thats the reason im sceptical about this whole motion controller business. But if Team Ico or ND were to make a game from the ground up using MC it just may be good

No interest in motion controllers. Main reason why I don't have a Wii right now.
