Have tried to download this now several times, but each time I only manage to find the Unlock Patch, as opposed to the ACTUAL GAME data.
I've followed the link to the game page, I've searched direct, and still just the poxy 6Kb patch file.
Anyone else had this problem? Any advice or solution known?
I am in Ireland and have downloaded it no probs.
I sometimes find the store a bit finicky on the freebies.
Do a search for limbo and it should come up.
Then just d/l it.
If you've downloaded it before it will be in your history.
Same thing happened to me when Outland was free on PS+. You should probably search under Demos first and download the demo. After you've d/l and installed that, go back to the store and download the unlock key.
I tried again last night, and I think I'm going crazy.
There's no demo link to be found. I've tried everything I can think of. I've searched the store and found the page that way, and I've also browsed through ALL PS3 games and found it that way too. Neither way presents me with any option other than to download the Trial and Unlock, which it states is 93Mb, but only ever downloads like a 6Kb patch.
I was going to take photos last night to show you what I was seeing, but I honestly couldn't be fucked.
I'm sure I'm not missing something. If it IS there and I AM missing something, then I cannot believe how god damn convoluted some things are on PSN/SEN.
@FictionSuit - when I've searched for it I can't even see a demo... but I will try browsing the demo section tonight for it. This is the only thing I haven't specifically done. Ta.

Are you sure you've never downloaded the trial before? If you have then the PSN Store (at least used to) hide it. To get it again you need to look in your download history and redownload it from there.
I've not downloaded it before, no. I've found two different items here --- https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/#!/en-gb/search/q=limbo , and have added them both to my download list to try tonight.
Let us know how you get on Deacon, I had the same problem but I know I've already downloaded the demo so will have to go searching through my download history to find it again I think.
What I see on the pc store is a demo and unlock version, maybe you should download that first and then use unlock key on it. I haven't tried it, so its just a guess.
Tried downloading the demo from the SEN web page, gave me this
before telling me it had been added to my download list. Ok.
I check my download list via the XMB > Account Management bit and via the PSN store - still can't see it.
I've just been into the PSN store Demos section > Unique > Limbo and attempted that. Still all I get is the 6Kb upgrade file.
I've nothing left to try, have I?

From the official forum, it sounds like the ONLY way I can get the game again is to trawl through my several hundred-strong download history and find the original game download. Hardly a small task seeing as there's no search function.
I do vaguely remember downloading it about a year or more ago, so this is definitely my only option left.
Not impressed. Probably won't bother.

It's not actually all that tricky. You bring up a list and scroll down it until you spot the Limbo icon - it's fairly obvious. You could start from release (about July 2011) and work forward from there.
I can see it taking like half an hour minimum that's all. Especially considering I normally have to wait for the items to pop in for a few seconds on each page. Hardly intuitive. Or maybe I'm just being melodramatic.
Either way I'm determined to play the sucker. I'll make a big cup of tea and have a pop tonight. I will be timing it though.

Took DrDamn's advice and scrolled back in my download list back to last summer, then scrolled forwards and found it in August 2011. Downloaded it straight away, all sorted. Took me about five minutes in the end. Now I just need to find the time to play it.
That's the beauty of PS+ though, now I've downloaded it I can go back to it when I get time. Like I just did with Bulletstorm.
