I got around to trying the Wii U MiiVerse today thanks to a friend, to be honest it has been one of my biggest surprises this generation, the sense of community is wonderful, it is far better than I suspected it would be.
I've been critical of the consoles specs and price and library but MiiVerse is great, would be really good to see something similar implemented on Xbox Live/PSN

Can laugh at my opinion all they like, it's twitter/fb rolled into one template so I give Nintendo credit for attempting something like that

i am pretty sure msony will kind of mock this - and it would be clever if they do so. it´s pretty genius and clever. the wiiu community is very refreshing too. all nice, polite, creative and cool...really loving that when i come home from work and don´t feel like talking.
oh boy how i hate the bitching on livepsn after a hard days work. there have benn times i found it amusing, but man this is getting old real fast.
It's really nicely done and quite Japanese too. From the outside it looks like they've just plonked a discussion forum into the OS, but it's much more clever than that. Integration into games, activity feeds, screen grabs and pictures. Seriously nice.
Just as an example. I'm playing NSMBWU. Zoom out on the world map and I can see little tips from VG247's Dave Cook saying 'Use a squirrel suit here' or 'Take your time on the spikes', associated with specific levels. It's such a great touch.
I don't have a Wii U or Nintendo ID at the moment guys, I was just playing on my friends system.
