So I shall be getting Hitman for PC on Steam and I'd love to add anyone else that's getting it so there's a nice group of VG247'ers all creating contracts. That way there's lots of content after we get sleepy of the singleplayer :)

I just started posting on VG247, and I have doubts of my creativity, but I'll sign up just so I can get some juicy contracts. My steam account is arslanaladeen.
I'm definately going to create some contracts. But not until im done with the game on Purist difficulty :P So that might be a couple of weeks x)
I just made my first contract, and boy, let me tell you, this mode needs, NEEDS, a save feature. I spent I don't know how many hours and play-throughs trying to get it done the way I wanted to. Anyway, it's called "The Scarecrow strikes again" and I sorta imagine a D-Movie horror movie, where some nuns try to rid the land of a ax weilding scarecrow monster. It's in the cornfield stage, you have to be in a scarecrow costume the entire time, can only use an ax, and can't get spotted by anyone.
^What if i only use my suit, and no weapons at all, don't even touch the target. Will that diminish my score?
Also i disagree on the need of a save feature, as far as i'm concerned it shouldn't even have the checkpoint system :P
I think you won't get the bonus's or full pay out if you don't do it that way, but you might be able to do it quicker and cleaner which might make up for it. I mainly think the save feature should be there for create a contract mode so I can experiment a little and see what works and doesn't for the contract without having to reload a dozen times. I mainly picked the costume, weapons, level and targets cause an ax weilding scarecrow killing nuns in a cornfield sounded like so much of a bad 70's horror movie, I had to do it.
^You're reasoning for the save feature, i can agree with it. As long as it is for creating contracts :P
Regarding the contract, i'll make sure to check it out when i have the time for it. It sounds pretty good!
^ Thanks. I think I made it pretty challenging. The trick is first getting an ax, and then knowing the right time to use it when no one else is looking.
I have to warn you, i don't plan on starting on playing any contracts until i'm done with my first playthrough :P Just to make sure none of the levels are spoiled. So it could be a while until i play your contract, but i've bookmarked this thread so i can find the name of it easily ;)
What do you think about this game? Is it worth to buy or not?

Obviously there is stealth in this game, which was very very lacking in games such as Dishonored. And if you play on purist difficulty it doesn't have the pesky checkpoints everyone hate.
All in all i think Blood Money is the best of the Hitman games so far, but that doesn't mean Absolution is bad. It isn't, it does lack in certain areas, but it still is a great game. But is it worth the price? I think so.
As you can see i'm pretty torn about my opinion of this game, sorry if it didn't help you out x)
More or less agree with Talkar. I do think Contracts is pretty cool, particularly when you get an interesting one that forces you to look more in depth into the level or do thinks in an interesting way. Kill the chef, with fiber wire, then kill guard 'A' in chef costume with knife, then kill guard 'B' in guard A's outfit with pistol.
The campaign, much like all Hitman games, are at it's best when it's an open level letting you go about and do your own thing, but the story focused linear levels take up more space than they should. I don't regret getting it, but I'd say try before you buy.
You convinced me. I found it online for €18.90. Is it good price? I don't want overpaid ;)
