   i am replaying bioshock atm. slow paced, from time to time. classic game. loving it.

   i bought an uk steelbook version (for peanuts) because i didn´t have the game anymore. last time i played it was in 2007. this is what my achievements data on xbl says.

   strange thing is: i am getting all the achievements again!

   my old achievements of bioshock are still there. an all new bioshock opened in my achievement slot and i am unlocking them just as i´ve never played it before. there are 2 bioshocks now that look just the same...

   this never happened to me before, even if i replayed games with a different disc. i am not complaining but i don´t know why this is happening, maybe because the german version i played in 2007 wasn´t uncut while the uk version is an uncut version...still...odd...

   anyone else experienced something like that?

   It means they're copies of the game from a different region.

   Region locked / region different games get treated as seperate titles. Since the content of the German version of the game was different from the international version, that would explain why.

   ok, i thought so too, just never heard of this before. i almost always go straight for the uncut versions anyway. i buy a lot of games from austria or uk because germany is handling mature content in a very very strange way...
   well, feels like a first time playthrough now with all the unlocks, so i am not complaining :D

   Maybe thats what the guy with one million score did to reached those insanely high numbers ;)
