As someone who has been a fan of the franchise for a good 20 years now, that trailer is one of the most genuinely impressive things I've seen in the franchise for a very long time.
Why the hell are Square Enix not designing the mainstay titles in this style? A scene like this in one of the main games would be one of the most epic things ever.

Agreed...the online titles had always the most epic stuff inside (the FF11 intro with the black mage who is using a Meteor Spell on an very big army)...would like to see the same in offline titles too.
