Guys one questions, yesterday i fire up battlefield 3 on my ps3 once again, and i did remember why i did left this game in the first place, when iam gaming all of the sudden appears on the top right corner of the screen a triangle orange logo with a cord unpluged, and basecally i cannot move or shoot, only stay there waiting for some enemy to put me out of my misery, this happens a lot, i ask you guys what this is? and how i can avoid it?, if i cannot avoid it by any means, iam done with this game.

That sounds very much like a "bad connection" indicator.
If you're playing on servers overseas then that's your problem.

Sounds like a network issue of some sort. Do you play other online titles without problems?

Yep, i do, it only happens on this title, maybe is like freedoms indicated is for a server oversea, and now that i think about it, it did started when Dice created the Rent servers, so that has to be it, i will try to find the US serves and see if this situation is still happening, on normal servers.

that´s my guess too. for you checking for us serves would probably solve it. haven´t experienced that myself though but it would definitley make me freak out. if i wanna play BF i mostly still play BFBC2 or vietnam though....don´t know, just like it so much more. BF3 is kinda dead for me.

I hate to sugest this, and will get stoned for doing so, but play it on XB LIVE. I would only buy exclusive or offline games for PS3.
What kills me about BF3 is the way the way the game servers are. The player run ones are for the birds. So tuff to find a normal game with normal rules. Hint: I don't want a 600% ticket count. Plus, you ever see a server "owner" go into a raging tempertantrum? Funny and sad at the same time. And reuslted more then once in me or a friend getting server banned.

i agree. they wanted to make it more like a pc experience but in the end it annoyed me more than it was a good thing. it´s tough to find a regular rules conquest server sometimes. there are some but they are mostly full. this 600% tickets stuff breaks the game imho, the pacing, it just makes no sense to me.
that´s also a reason why i still prefer bfbc2 i guess.

Well guys i just want to balance out the games on my consoles, i have call of duty on the 360, therefore i wanted battlefield on my ps3, so i keep everybody happy and well supported, but i grant i prefer FPS on the 360, for the controls alone, those trigers on the ps3 are kind of bad.

Whether you play on 360 or PS3 you're playing on the same shit EA servers in the same locations. If it was P2P you might have a point, but it's not so you don't.

Manu, you are the only gamer you need to worry about keeping happy. If a game, genere, or more are best for one system over another, you owe it to yourself to buy the best copy. It isn't like the PS3 versions costs less moeny, if you're paying the same amount, why not own the best one?
Just like Poly said, PS3 is really only for exclusives. Unless, ofc, that is all you own. I tried two different times to shift my gaming focus on PS3. I even did PSN+. I finaly said screw it. Too many dumb things, some of them little, some of them big, that ruined my game experience.
You do what you want tho.
And to be fair, you might be one of those folks with an ISP so poor you can't tell the difference between LIVE and PSN anyways. I know a lot of the EU guys have that trouble. They honestly think PSN =/= Live. Performance wise. Internet is one of those things where you are only as fast as your slowest link, if that link is at your ISP, it won't matter if the service you are conecting to is better or not. You aren't able to see it because of your ISP.
I don't know if that is your situation or not Manu. If so, it prolly won't matter what system/service you are using.

Well happy was not the correct word,sorry i meant well supported all along, well is true i try to get FPS on the 360 and action games on the ps3, but i do really want to give support to all consoles, iam a gamer that wants everyone to succeed and keep in the business, so i do what i can, i got all the console for exclusives, i got the best third party versions, if they are on the ps3 i go with the ps3 darksiders for instance, or if they are on the 360 like bayonetta i go with the 360, but the thing with battlefield was a tricky one, there was not that many differences between both versions both were great, for what i read they were almost the same, therefore i picked up on the ps3, because i got COD on the 360, i hope that explains why my resoning for picking battlefield on the ps3, and you are right by the way OG iam the i have to be worried about being happy, thats sooo true.

Yesterday i did tried with US servers and with the best pin activity shown on the search, and the same thing appear, i dont know what to think which will be the cause now, man i was sure it has to be that like freedom mentioned, now if this continues iam done for good with this game.
