   I don't know, I don't think it is going to be as bad as all of that.

   I already use strong digital services now. Steam, XBL, PSN, and eShop. Not to mention iTunes. My concern is that if a companie goes under, I lose my purchases. I never bought into OnLive for that reason.

   I think the biz model for the future will have us looking at services where we play certian games for a monthly fee. Like Cable TV works. So long as you pay, to get acsess. Ofc other problems pop up, right now I can watch Walking Dead. But if AMC pulls it from the air tomorrow, I can still buy a physical copy to enjoy. If Acti has a service in ten years and pulls CoD from their cloud of streamable games, can you still buy the game elsewhere to play or do you have to just use whatever games Acti wants on its service at the time?

   Lots of questions, concerns, and things to think about. But I doubt it will be that bad, and we will prolly wake up one day and see that the future is already upon us and we didn't even notice when exactly it happened.

   I agree OG, but it is really frigthening to only resort to their good willing of doing business, wihtout any legal back up, this gen we have a lot of examples like the stop of the servers for multiplayer games on the original XBOX, the Other OS issue, etc, that it not seems right to resort to their good willing, we need an strong law enviroment in order to have clear our rights and responsabilities, and to know the provider ones too, all to a fair and equal treatment, that it will be the best thing, i do think is the future, i mean digitally, just well done for all parts involve thats all, of course all of this legal enviroment to grant us the access just like we use to.

   I understand that sentiment manu, I almost cried the day MS took down Mechassult servers and Sega took down PSO servers. But the truth is, it is there right to do that. As much as I would love to still play those games online(I still play PSO BB online - pvt PC server), those companies can't be expected to run them forever.

   Game companies make money selling us new games, if all we wanted to do was play the old ones, they would be out of biz. Like I said lots of things to think about.

   But now instead of Mechassult, I play BF3. I still play PSO BB http://www.schtserv.com/ free to download, free to play, hint hint. And I will be able to play PSO 2 in a couple of months. Playing games doesn't change, just the name of the game you are playing.
