I just found something really odd about CoD Classic; Turns out the PS3 verison has a full games worth of trophies (38) whilst the 360 version only has an arcade game number (12).
I got it on 360 with the MW2 Prestige. Sort of a let down that.

I guess that'd be because of the strict 200GP only rule with Arcade games compared to the PSN.

I'd guess but then other downloadable games on PSN have limited trophies including exclusives. Unless the devs are putting less on purpose. but then Classic does actually have plat to. No other downloadable game does.

I'm pretty sure Wipeout HD had a plat in it's digital release before going to retail.

Actually now i think about it so does WarHawk and a few others but the difference was that they are also sold on disc.

played Cod 1 and 2 + addons (best games of the series btw, imo)on PC and i heard the console versions are different.

I'm playing COD:Classic on PS3 right now and I'm very impressed with it. I did play the original back in '03, so I can see the improvements with resolution and framerate. VERY smooth and for an almost 8 year old game, and overall it really stands the test of time well.
Be warned, it's fucking hard as hell man. And with medkits and sometimes checkpoints far and few between, it can be a tad frustrating at times.

Either you're blind or the PS3 version runs better then the 360 version. Because the framerate is a mess for me.

Dude, PS3 version is easily 60FPS. Variable yes, constant no. Again, VERY impressive overall.

its not even a big of frame rate drop for me, at some points i'm getting sheer slow down. Also the loadings are damn long.
Apart from that its pretty decent, i like how you have fire modes with weapons and -even though i've never used it- being able to lean is funny (pure PC thing that) but i'm glad IW got rid of the health bar in later games; Classic isnt hard per se its just the lack of health that makes it tough.

Agreed. The medkits make it the hardest COD in my opinion. Good luck beating the game on Veteran.
