Dungeon Hunter: Allience is my personal Fav PSN game. It is basicly a Diablo stye game. It has fantastic control, nice graphics, and great gameplay. I would kill for more content or a sequel. It just works.
Twin Stick Action RPGs works extremly well. Basicly you just make it control like Gauntlet/Robotron style. Torchlight worked great on Xb360. Sacred2 worked on both systems.
If I was to make an action RPG on WiiU, I would want to use the nunchuk/wiimote combo controls. Go play Alien Syndrome to get an idea of what I mean. You thumbstick move with the nunchuk, and point the wiimote where you want to attack, use A, Z, etc to select skills. Works very well.
IMO, when you're being swarmed in Diablo or TQ:IT, the controls are poor. How many times do you just want to move, but can't because the damn game thinks your trying to attack a monster instead? And you can't find a clear spot on the screen to move to. Twin stick control removes that problem.
I would love to play that way.
That being said, I think there is zero chance we will see DiabloIII or any other blizz game on WiiU.
WiiU will be a great system, but the only way it recieves games that some folks are hoping it gets is if the new systems from MS/Sony fail to sell. I think Sony is going to fail with PS4, I think JPN is going to suport WiiU/3DS, but I think MS will prolly own 60-70% of the market share everywhere else. XBNXT will likly be the goto system for most pubs.
WiiU will likly be home to awesome Nintendo games, and prolly have mor thrid party suport then Wii did. esp where JPN games are concerned. But if Blizz stick games on a console, they will likly go on XBNXT.
I think anyways.
