Okay, I am in Dublin with family and I brought my Xbox 360 with me (and GTA IV).
Anywaysn, I am trying to get on Xbox Live so I could get The Lost and Damned (for tomorrow) but the thing is, it wont let us.
Wired or wireless, as I have my adaopter with me, it wont let me. It connects to the internet alright but not Live stating we need to open port 3074 so we can get on.
Anybody wanna give me a walkthrough on how to get it working?
Anybody who does, I will love them for live.

No you should be able to connect in any region I believe, the opening of port 3074 appears to be a common requirement. It's just a case of setting up port forwarding for the ports XBL use.
Okay, Internet Explorer won't let me fix this.
I click on it but it keeps freezing and tells me it needs to close. Is there other way to type in my IP like Firefox? I'm pretty certain there is something in Windows that allows you to do this.

What exactly are you trying to do with IE?

ok, try swapping the '0' with another number until it works.
ie. http://192.168.1.1
or http://192.168.2.1
or http://192.168.3.1, etc.
If that doesn't work then keep the '0' and change the last number in the same way.
No, sorry, I probably make myself clear.
When I try to open IE, it freezes, I cant do nothing and then says it needs to close.
What I am trying to say is that is there another way to enter the IP on the computer other then IE.
Yeah, you can use Firefox too.

Okay, tried it the way the IP address said on the Xbox, tried all sorts of combos like 1.2 or 2.1 et cetera.
But nothing.
Is there not a driver on XP that can do something like this, I am pretty certain that there is something like, would that help?

Tried IE.
Tried Firefox.
Tried run to enter ipconfig.
Nothing.
Although there is one more thing that I need absoutely confirmed.
Do I enter the IP at the bit where you put in the address. Most likely a stupid question yeah but I need to confirm it.
Instead of typing ipconfig at the run prompt, type cmd (to bring up the command prompt) and then enter ipconfig. This should show you information about your connections, one of the key bits of information you want to find out is your 'Default Gateway' - that will be the address of your router.
Then yes you should enter it in the address bar of your web browser.
