According to the update, it's looking Bioware (the catch-all name for EA studios) is going back to being Bioware which is located in Edmonton Canada, and hopefully all the studios they called Bioware are being changed back to their original names, like EA Austin. It was a dumb idea to call everything bioware in the first place.

Well, Zeschuk was the 'genius' who gave us this quote:
"[World of Warcraft] is a touchstone. It has established standards, it’s established how you play an MMO. Every MMO that comes out, I play and look at it. And if they break any of the WoW rules, in my book that’s pretty dumb."
Well Zeschuk, in my opinion that's a pretty dumb opinion to have. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he's actually been sacked for poor business sense, and not really understanding what people want from an MMO.

He hasn't been "sacked" He still is in control in EA just in a more Broader sense and he left because he has family still in Edmonton which he has been away from.
BTW Bioware planned this FTP movement when the Bioware employees at the school had said something major and huge would be happening in the fall in January. I thought their were talking about an expansion but no this FTP was planned from the get go EA/Bioware was just trying to recoup as much as they can from subs until this fall.
Greg is a business man and this is why he created the game studio in order to make money every studio owner dreams of making it big and then selling off their studio and living comfortable. Well the Doctors got exactly that . They have little to nothing to worry about compared to when they first started.
