So, what does everyone have planned to buy this year in the near future or the entire year?
So far for me, coming up:

The next games I'm excited about are:
Race Pro
Killzone 2
Demon's Soul ( I'm actually more excited by this than any other game this year and I only found out about it last week ... roll on March )
Desperately hoping for APB and The Agency at some point this year. If they meet expectations then I won't be playing much else for quite some time.
The Wii Motion Plus thingy as I'm looking forward to playing the only jetski game so far this gen.
Aside from those there's actually a disturbing lack of games this year that I really really want to play. I was looking forward to Aliens: Colonial Marines but am a bit wary of it now given the delays and rumours of development problems.

I wait for opinions of the games coming out this year. Those that I mentioned have been on my list for a while, but maybe I'll get around to buying them this year. :)
All of the best ones, most of the really good ones, and probably even a few average ones if they are interesting shooters.
Most of all at the moment I'm looking forward to Modern Combat 2.
I've also been hoping that Test Drive Unlimited 2 would be announced for ages now, so I'd be pleased if that got released for this year.

I really wish I'd played SotC before I got rid of my PS2... loved ICO and salivated over that. EG5 is a wonderful game imo - brightened my winter last year. Probably one of the more fun versions of an online lobby I've ever seen too.
Motorstorm 2 - big surprise to me, I was put off by the demo as that seemed no different to the original, but the full game is a blast... bought it a couple of weeks ago and aside from the demo track ( why did they choose that one? ) it's so much better than the original it's unbelievable. well worth a punt.

Yeah I loved TDU - especially with the wheel and sim-patch. Has there been any actual word of a sequel or are we just hoping upon hope?

Yeah, I played most of TDU with the steering wheel and though it was hard to control at times, it's still one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had.
I saw a while ago that Eden had announced that they were working on it, but I don't think that they've said anything else about it since.
I think Midnight Club LA has been the closest thing to it since, but even though the racing is better, it falls short in so many other areas.

I just couldn't get on with Midnight Club: LA for some reason - I think possibly LA was just a really poor choice of city. Good to know that there's been an official announcement but if they haven't said anything more about it since I won't be holding my breath for this year. ;)

Lucky lucky man :( I'm still waiting for sony to start releasing PS2 games on the Store - now that PS2 hardware sales are declining it might happen, you never know. /hopes
