Opinions on which I should play?
I've been a final fantasy fan for years and years, I had legend of dragoon when I was like 10 but lost it and I don't even think I ever finished it. I never played FF tactics as it was never released over here, though I did enjoy tactics advanced.
Or recommend me any other RPGs I can play to burn time..
If you want to have a game that is based around strategy so much so that every battle can take 30mins at least than I would say Tactics if you want a game that has a pretty good story and with a gameplay mechanics that are similiar to FF7 than I would say Dragoon.
FFT is one of my favourite games ever. Fantastic mechanics and job system. Brilliant story. It can be a little grind-y in that you are expected to level up your group between main battles, but I kinda like that in a game.
What platform?
dark cloud 2 and baten kaitos, those are my last gen favorites RPG, persona and the shini megami tensei games came really close, and regarding the ones you ask i will say go with tactis, in my humble opinion is the better game a classic.
