I'm in dire need of a screen capture software, mostly for PC games and I'd like it to be able to record HD and voice too. I've heard some things about FRAPS, but I don't know if that records in-game subtitles, and I've seen some samples and it's not looking too good (but maybe I've watched the wrong video). Any ideas?
P.S. A free software would be ideal. But I'd mostly like to know which one is the best.
FRAPS records your screen resolution so as long as its a HD resolution then it'll record in HD. It records voice through an external mic and it will show in-game subtitles. It's £25 which I personally think is a good value for money.

Seen others on YouTube praise it better than FRAPS since it's less harsh on the CPU and such.

I watched some comparison videos on Youtube, and while some priased DXtory, some said FRAPS is the way to go. It seems that you are pretty much forced to use a 720p compressed video for DXtory, because it eats only 20% of your CPU and you will get less "choppy" videos. That sure is a let down. I guess I'll have to check them all and see which one fits my PC.

I also use it and I've never have had issues with it.
