With the release of Max Payne 3 slowly creeping up on us (May 15th worldwide) I thought it would be a nice idea to start a sort of sign-up / find interest for those of you who fancy joining the VG247 'crew' that we will inevitably run.

I'm aware that myself, Johnny and Pat have all gone for the Xbox version of the game, so lets say that we'll start an Xbox crew.

I'd also be up for doing a few community nights on this, I'll do some capture and edit it all together so you can see yourselves running around as bald headed men.

I will get it for the 360 too, now the thing is that it will arrive in 2-3 weeks upon release day T_T, but in any case my tag is the same as my name here ManuOtaku

cool. perfect timing. just changed my preorder from ps3 to 360 version today because of a ms point refund i just received:

My problem with this game that it is coming when Diablo III launches so i'm pass for sure.

Sadismek, if grand theft auto and red redemption are anything to go by, as an statistics data (precedent), the xbox 360 version will be a bit better in performance IMHO, therefore if you can pick up the 360 version i suggest you do it, if you only have a ps3, well the differences are not that big, unless you play the game side by side in both consoles, therefore dont worry, i hope a lot of your friends will picked it up on the ps3 as well.
p.s this comment is not to try to generate a console wars topic, just giving my suggestion to a fellow gamer, thats all. really

i switched from ps3 to 360 preorderwise and now finally cancelled my preorder at all. like a leaf in the wind. I WILL pick this up sometime this summer for sure though...but first i decided to get starhawk and i plan to sink some serious time into this if it´s good. i have lots of games yet to finish on the vita too and will buy gravity rush and resistance burning skies for it in june as well...i can´t keep up playing all this, so Max Payne will prolly have to wait a little i guess. i think the mp will probably be fun- but as with all the rockstar mp modes, i do not think that it´ll hook me for too long.

@Sadismek: are you planning to get starhawk too...maybe we could team up there...

Hey, thanks Manu for the suggestion, but I'm afraid I only own a PS3 and a PC. I was planning to get this on PC, but I think it won't be able to handle it properly. I thought through this and I will maybe (just maybe) wait and see how this performs on my PC before deciding if I'll get it on PS3. I have Red Dead Redemption on PS3, and call it blind luck, but I've never had a problem with it, and that slight difference between the two versions won't make me get an Xbox360.

@polygem I haven't thought about getting Starhawk, although I've played Warhawk at a friend sporadically. It was pretty fun, so if Starkhawk turns out to be better, I might consider getting it. If I get my hands on it, I'll surely let you know ;).

ok. cool! you´re on my friendlist already. maybe check out some of the starhawk video reviews. i suggest gametrailers and ign reviews. they are both really positive. another take on it gives the machinima review. they gave it a 6/10, while GT gave it a 83/100 and ign a 9/10...all in all it looks absolutley wicked fun to me.

i just purchased sly cooper 3 HD remake off the playstation store 5 minutes ago, which adds another unfinished game to my list. stupid...but it´s on a sale (4,99 euro!) and i loved those games. i am so tempted to get the full jak and daxter hd and then the upcoming ratchet and clank hd collection too....but i just do not have enough time. damn.
just checked: the sly download is 11 GB. what???
